Volta started in 2019 with one drum roaster, a borrowed Cubao garage, and a stubborn belief that coffee from the Cordilleras could stand shoulder to shoulder with anything in the world. We named it after the unit of electric potential, because the best cups carry a charge.
Every lot is cupped, profiled, and roasted in small batches, then rested before it ever reaches your grinder. We work directly with growers in Benguet, Sagada, and beyond, paying above market so the people who grow it keep doing it well.
